The Pleasant Garden Fire Department, established in 1952, is a professional and progressive organization committed to teaching and educating the community in fire prevention and safety. Serving a district of approximately 12,006 residents over 28.72 square miles, the department responds to over 1,100 calls annually, with the majority being medical emergencies. Their mission is to provide rapid response, effective operations, and quality care during fire, rescue, medical, hazardous material, or natural disaster incidents.
The Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire District, established in 1952, serves a 52-square-mile area in southwest Guilford County, including the Town of Jamestown and surrounding rural districts. Operating from five stations, the department comprises 51 career personnel and over 12 volunteer firefighters, responding to an average of 3,450 calls annually. With an ISO rating of 2, they are dedicated to protecting lives and property through superior service and public education, reaching over 18,000 individuals each year with their Fire and Life Safety programs.
The Summerfield Fire Department, established in 1952, serves the Summerfield, NC community, protecting over 14,000 residents and more than 350 businesses across 47 square miles. Operating from three stations, they respond to structural fires, hazardous materials incidents, auto accidents, water rescues, and medical emergencies. The department is committed to fire safety, education, and prevention, offering safety tips and community outreach events.
The Greensboro Firefighter's Charitable Fund, established by the Professional Fire Fighters of Greensboro, is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting both firefighters and the Greensboro community. Their mission includes providing direct financial assistance to firefighters and their families during times of hardship, offering relief through charitable contributions and volunteerism to those in need, funding travel to the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial for families of members who have died in the line of duty, and supporting health and safety training and educational resources for Greensboro Fire Department members.
